Midwest Medtech + Terracotta
At Terracotta, we believe that in order to flourish, we need to become whole; in order to be whole, we have to slow down. The pace of modern life—especially in high-performance industries like medical device sales—can leave us fragmented, exhausted, and disconnected from what matters most.
Our coaching approach is designed to help individuals develop a sustainable rhythm that integrates personal values, professional ambition, relational health, and overall well-being. We focus on the whole person, not just their productivity or performance.

What We Offer
Terracotta Coaching will serve as an ongoing resource and support system for the Midwest Medtech Group team. Our partnership includes the following components:
-
Monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with Derec (and other team members as needed) to provide personalized support, accountability, and strategic guidance.
Focus areas include leadership development, work-life integration, decision-making, managing stress, and aligning daily work with personal values and long-term vision.
-
A curated monthly newsletter delivered to the entire Midwest team covering topics such as:
• Wellness practices and self-care strategies
• Work-life balance and boundary-setting
• Time management and prioritization
• Moral ambition—pursuing excellence with integrity and purpose
-
Team members will complete the Working Genius assessment, a powerful tool developed by Patrick Lencioni that helps individuals discover their natural gifts and energy drains in the workplace.
This assessment will help team members understand how they're wired, improve team dynamics, and ensure people are operating in their areas of strength and passion.
-
A "Rule of Life" is a personal mission and vision statement that helps individuals clarify their core values, priorities, and commitments. It serves as a compass for decision-making and a framework for living with intention.
Through guided coaching, team members will develop their own Rule of Life, creating alignment between who they are, what they value, and how they spend their time and energy.
